CORE CLASSES
You were designed to be a part of a church family. And that's exactly what Village View Community Church is intended to be - your family. That's why at Village View we want to share with you what we believe and where we're going. We do this through a series of classes offered on the second Sunday of every month.Register at Grand Central or by calling the church office (307-7303).
Core Classes do NOT meet the months of May or December due to holiday schedules.
CLASS 101 is the basic introduction to our church family designed to clearly explain who and what our church is. This is a great opportunity to learn about Village View Community Church, get to know others, and have a free meal as well (dinner's on us). We'll explain what we believe, how we operate, and the history of our church. We'll answer your questions, share information on our church's future plans, and how you may become a member. At the end of the CLASS there will be an opportunity for you to decide whether to complete the process and become a member or wait and decide at another time. No pressure whatsoever, we want you to be comfortable with whichever you choose to do.
CLASS 201 is designed to help you get the basics of what is needed to grow and mature in your faith. Helpful handles are given in how to study the Bible, developing a daily devotional time with God, giving to God to expand His kingdom, and becoming a part of a small group at Village View.
CLASS 301 helps the attender discover his or her spiritual gifts and looks at the many ways that those gifts and talents can be used for God's glory at Village View. A personal SHAPE interview is also scheduled so you can receive one-on-one help in finding the "right fit" for you to serve in at Village View.
CLASS 401 gives handles on sharing your faith to your circle of friends and family and gives you an overview of mission trips and local/foreign mission groups and ministries that Village View Church supports. You will also learn how to write and share your own personal testimony of what God has done in your life.
CLASS 501 takes a closer look at worship and what it means in the life of the believer. Through video, personal interaction, and times of praise and worship within the class, you will leave with a deeper love and understanding of what being a worshiper truly means.
